Because of the drought situation in Melbourne, the ground staff at Monash University has advised us to let you all know that if we have no further rain, all soccer players will not be allowed to wear soccer boots while playing at the tournament. (This includes studs, moulds, cleats or blades). You will only be allowed to play with runners, indoor soccer shoes or grass-cats (Shoes with flat soles and that will not damage the playing surface). So I strongly advise you to bring both sets of shoes to the tournament.
